How we support you on your communication journey
We conduct an assessment
One of our highly qualified Speech Pathologists will provide an anxiety-free review in accordance with NDIS guidelines to independently assess the needs of the participant.
We Create a treatment plan
We create a clear, goal-oriented treatment plan aimed at addressing the specific challenges and aspirations identified during any relevant assessment taken place.
We take care of the paperwork
We compile a report which goes to both the participant and NDIA to assist with decisions regarding the type and level of NDIS funding, alongside the support required.

Communication Assessment
Suitable For:
- Children with Developmental Delays
- Adults with Acquired Communication Disorders (Post-stroke, Parkinson’s Disease)
- People with Speech Sound or Voice Disorders (Occupational Voice users)
- Individuals with Complex Communication Needs requiring Alternative and Augmentative Communication Systems
Assessment Process:
The assessment process begins with a pre-assessment session, which involves gathering case history and completing NDIS progress documentation through a phone call or telehealth consultation.
This is followed by an assessment session(s) where a standardised assessment tool(s) is administered.
Reports and Goal Setting
After the assessment, a comprehensive report is prepared, detailing the findings and recommendations. During the feedback session, the clinician discusses the results with the client and sets specific goals for improvement. Further Treatment Sessions:
Further treatment sessions are tailored to the client’s needs, focusing on specific communication (speech and language) goals.
These sessions may include direct therapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods, and caregiver or parental involvement to reinforce learning at home.
Progress is monitored through regular reviews, and goals are adjusted as needed to ensure the client is on track to meet their communication goals.
