The lunge is an easy-to-learn and extremely effective exercise which targets the quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, calves and the core. It can be performed at home without any equipment and is crucial to an individual’s rehabilitation program, helping to rebuild balance, strengthen core stability, and develop superior muscular symmetry. However, more often than not, we see this exercise performed incorrectly, which can strain the knee and hip. In this video, we aim to optimise the lunge technique through the correct form.
