Our dedicated team of speech pathologists is committed to providing timely and comprehensive assessments, ensuring you receive the support you need without unnecessary delays. With our expedited service, you can move forward with confidence, knowing that your report will be ready when you need it most.
**Reports will be provided 7 business days after the final assessment, not initial enquiry. Wait times for assessments may still apply.
Speech Language Assessments
A speech and language assessment by Optimum Health Solutions is a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s communication abilities. It involves collecting background information, conducting interviews, making observations, administering standardized and informal tests, and screening for hearing and vision issues. The results help speech-language pathologists identify strengths and areas needing improvement, allowing them to create tailored intervention plans. Additionally, they assess the need for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to supplement expressive language if necessary.
Swallowing Assessments
A swallowing assessment by Optimum Health Solutions is a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s ability to swallow safely and effectively. The assessment involves certified speech pathologists collecting background information, conducting interviews, making observations, and administering tests to determine the extent of dysphagia. Dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing, is connected to many disabilities covered by the NDIS. The results help to qualify if the condition is disability-related, enabling NDIS funding to support necessary health treatments and interventions.
Mealtime Management Assessments
A mealtime management assessment by Optimum Health Solutions evaluates the level of support needed to safely eat and drink. It involves assessing how to sit, what foods are suitable, the amount of supervision required, and even how to hold cutlery. Our speech pathologists conduct assessments in the places where you usually eat to gain the best insights into the extent of support required. The results help identify specific needs and create tailored plans to ensure safe and effective mealtime management.

One of our highly qualified Speech Pathologists will provide an anxiety-free review in accordance with NDIS guidelines to independently assess the needs of the participant.
