We Support the NDIS. Registered NDIS Provider

NDIS Occupational Therapy in Cessnock

Uncertainty is the enemy of recovery. That is why we sit down with you to create a clear therapy roadmap. We calculate exactly how your NDIS or Medicare funding translates into sessions so you never have to worry about running out of support halfway through your recovery. We value transparency because we believe you should be the expert on your own journey.

Our MDT Advantage means your Physiotherapist talks to your Exercise Physiologist or Dietitian. If your recovery stalls, we do not guess. We hold a case conference. This ensures your team is pulling in the same direction which saves you time and emotional energy. We make sure everyone is on the same page regarding your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not for private patients. You can book an appointment directly. However, if you are planning to claim through Medicare (EPC), DVA, or Workers Compensation, a GP referral is required before your first visit.
Wear loose and comfortable clothing. You should be able to move freely. If you have a knee injury, shorts are best. For shoulder issues, a singlet or loose tee is helpful. We need to see how your body moves to help you best.
Is Physiotherapy painful? It should not be unbearable. While some rehabilitation exercises can be challenging or uncomfortable as we get stiff joints moving, our goal is to relieve pain rather than cause it. We communicate constantly to ensure you feel safe and in control.
We have a strict 48 hour cancellation policy. A 100% fee applies for late cancellations. This policy ensures that appointment slots are available for those who need urgent care and reflects our mutual commitment to your consistent recovery.
We use a combination of both. Depending on your needs, we may use manual therapy like massage or mobilization to settle pain followed by specific exercises to build strength. Passive treatment settles symptoms while active movement builds long term resilience.
