About the Role
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the supervision of qualified Allied Health professionals to deliver evidence-based therapy programs and support clients across a variety of clinical settings.
You will play an integral role in helping clients build independence, improve their quality of life and achieve their individual goals while working alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clinicians with the delivery of individual and group-based therapy programs
  • Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of qualified Allied Health professionals
  • Supporting clients to achieve their therapy goals
  • Preparing therapy resources and treatment environments
  • Completing progress notes and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborating with clinicians across multiple Allied Health disciplines
  • Building positive relationships with clients, families, carers and key stakeholders
  • Promoting client independence through high-quality therapy support

About You
We’re seeking someone who is passionate about Allied Health Assistance as a long-term career and enjoys working within a collaborative clinical environment.
Ideally, you will have:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Placement experience or previous experience supporting Allied Health clinicians, disability services, healthcare, education or community settings
  • A strong understanding of person-centred care and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • A Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check 
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

We also welcome applicants with transferable experience from health, education, teaching, childcare or disability support backgrounds who are looking to establish a long-term career as an Allied Health Assistant.
