No, you do not need a referral. Private patients can book now. You only need a referral for Medicare (EPC), DVA, or Workers Comp claims.
Yes, it can be. You need a chronic disease management plan from your GP. This is often called an EPC plan. Ask your doctor if you are eligible.
Wear comfortable clothing. You should be able to move freely. You do not need expensive activewear. Just wear flat shoes and clothes you can move in.
